Railcar BS6 |
| Description: |
Note the dual rail gauges at the bottom, standard & wide for these cars, also known as Larry cars. There are several of these former “Larry Cars” that were parked decades ago at the Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania plant and have been preserved by nature ever since. They were self propelled using overhead cables and ran on a broad gauge track hauling iron ore from the warehouse to the blast furnaces for processing. |
